ABOUT

Based in London, Kimberly Djehanian is a contemporary fine artist celebrated for her whimsical animal paintings, with frogs at the heart of her current practice. Known for blending humor and surrealism, Kimberly creates paintings that invite viewers to pause, smile, and reconnect with the joy found in everyday life.

A pivotal moment in her career came when she committed to painting a single subject, frogs, for an entire year. This act of discipline and creative restriction became a catalyst for artistic growth, teaching her the power of consistency and the freedom that emerges within limitation.

Through her playful yet technically refined approach, Kimberly explores the meeting point between nature and imagination. Her frogs are often placed in unexpected scenarios, sipping iced lattes, lounging in pickle jars, or riding Harleys, transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Her work has caught the attention of both collectors and brands, with collaborations including River Island and POSCA markers. Today she continues to build her presence as a fine artist, with aspirations to exhibit internationally and establish her place within the world of contemporary surrealism.
